Growing up with the Atari 2600 and a 286DX computer, technology has always been ingrained in my life. After obtaining my Associates in Electronic Engineering in 1999, I ventured to Silicon Valley during the dot-com bubble bust. Eventually returning to Arizona in 2003, I encountered a few false starts before establishing and running a successful Wireless ISP until 2013. Although I transitioned into Sales, my love for technology remains steadfast.
In 2015, our daughter’s diagnosis of Stage 4 cancer at the age of 3 shook our lives to the core. Amidst the darkness, we discovered the art of intentional living, cherishing even the toughest days. After her passing, we embarked on a journey to rebuild our lives and learn profound lessons along the way. For a comprehensive account of Audrey’s Journey through Cancer, you can read Audrey’s Story.
To reshape my outlook and tackle each day, I turned to audiobooks and captivating online content. Admirers of Steven Kotler, Jason Silva, Vishen Lakhiani, Tom Bilyeu, Michael Pollan, Simon Sinek, and more, I find inspiration in their works. My love for technology endures.
Since Audrey’s passing, I have embraced new hobbies, including competitive drone racing alongside my son. Recently joining the Arizona Desert Hawks Major League Drone Racing team, I am also part of an esports team for Rocket League, currently ranked Champ 1. Each day is a precious gift, and I’ve learned to appreciate and maximize every moment. Additionally, I have started sharing our journey of fighting cancer with Audrey and navigating life thereafter through speaking engagements. Check them out here
